Kim is a 1994 cum laude graduate of Trinity College of Vermont. She joined GDP in 1999 after working several years at an International accounting firm where she specialized in Estates and Trusts and high net worth individuals. After joining GDP, she established and developed the Firm’s specialty in Estates and Trusts, and Estate and Financial Planning and passed on her extensive knowledge in these areas to others in the firm. Julian C. Harrison III, CPA, MBA, JD

Elaine received her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Middlebury College and subsequently studied accounting at the University of Vermont. She received her CPA certification in 1983. Elaine is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Vermont Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is Treasurer of the Daybreak Community Church of Colchester. Elaine practices predominantly in the areas of tax planning, consultation and preparation of individual, corporate, trust, estate and other tax compliance reporting. She has experience in tax planning strategies for closely-held businesses, and advising on purchase and sale of businesses.

Kristin graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1998 from Champlain College with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Kristin spent many years as the treasurer for Women Helping Battered Women and 5 years teaching the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance training course. Emily is a Connecticut native and moved to Vermont in November 2022 to join GDP. She lives with her partner and their young German Shepherd, Freya on Malletts Bay. During 2022 prior to joining GDP, Emily and Jake hiked over 1,000 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to West Virginia. Emily is working towards a bachelor's degree in business administration from Capella University and studying for the CPA exam. In Bethel, Connecticut, Emily was an EMT. She is also an FFA supporter, and routinely coach's students in the National FFA Creed Public Speaking contest.

A native Vermonter and Navy veteran, Don joined the firm in 2020 as an administrative assistant. In 2021, he transferred roles to Office Manger. He’s responsible for supporting management and staff in their efforts to service the firm’s clients. Having worked in hospital administration and hotel management and sales, he has over 20 years of customer service and administrative experience. Don loves baseball and cooking on his grills for his family and friends. He also loves to read and uses this love to raise money for Hunger Free Vermont by donating a penny for every page he reads. Brianna joined the firm in 2022 as a receptionist. In May of 2023, she transferred roles to administrative assistance. Her responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, answering phone lines, setting up new clients, servicing existing clients, assembling, delivering, and e-filing client returns, as well as using various systems in her day to day tasks. She supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication and also manages employee calendars, prepares reports, and greets clients when they arrive in the office. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, doing arts and crafts with her niece and nephews, and playing board games. She is a Vermont native and loves everything about the state. In the fall, Brianna’s family takes a trip to Stowe to ride on the Gondola and admire the beautiful autumn scenery.

Dan joined the firm in 2012 and works in the tax department specializing in Individuals, Trusts and Estates. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Following graduation, he spent time with a Vermont bank in the trust and wealth management division where he was first introduced to trust and estate taxation. In 2005 Dan put his professional career on hold to serve in the United States Army as an Air Defense Officer working with the Patriot Missile System. Upon separation in 2011, Dan returned to the University of Vermont to earn his Master's of Accountancy degree before joining the firm. In 2020, Dan and his family relocated to the Charlotte area to work out of the North Carolina office.
